The High Atlas begins about an hour from Marrakech. Our treks start from Aguersioual, Imlil or Imi Oughlad and walk the old mule paths between Berber villages, over passes of 2,000 to 2,500 m, with the summit of Toubkal, 4,167 m, above them all.
On every multi-day trek a licensed local guide leads, mules carry the luggage and a cook prepares the meals, often on the pass itself. You carry only a day pack. Nights are in village guesthouses, family homes and, on the Toubkal circuit, camps and the refuge.

Which trek?
- First time in the mountains, or one free day: the day trek at Imlil.
- Two or three days: the 2-day or 3-day village treks, over Tizi n'Oudite (about 2,220 m) and Tizi n'Mzik (about 2,480 m).
- Four to six days: longer village loops to the Imnane valley, Sidi Chamharouch and Oukaïmeden.
- The summit: the 5-day Toubkal circuit approaches over the Aguelzim pass and summits on the last morning. A licensed guide is required on Toubkal.
