The day
Morning: Marrakech – Asni – Imlil
Through the Moulay Brahim gorge and the market town of Asni to Imlil, with an optional stop at an argan cooperative on the way.
Late morning: village walk and tea
Meet your mountain guide and walk for an hour or two through walnut and apple orchards to a village such as Aroumd, for mint tea and bread with a family.
Midday: lunch
Tagine or couscous at a guesthouse with a view. If conditions allow, a short walk to a waterfall.
Afternoon: back to Marrakech
Return by a different road if time allows, arriving in the early evening.
