Day by day
Day 1 · Casablanca – Rabat – Volubilis – Fes
The Hassan II Mosque by the sea, a short stop in Rabat at the Oudayas and the Hassan Tower, then Volubilis and on to Fes.
Day 2 · Fes
A full day in the medina: the Royal Palace gates, the Mellah and the Ibn Danan synagogue, the souks and the Chouara tannery, and the Bou Inania madrasa.
Day 3 · Fes food and gardens
A morning food walk, then the Batha museum, Palais Mokri and the Jnan Sbil gardens. Evening free or a hammam.
Day 4 · Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga
Over the Middle Atlas via Ifrane and the cedar forests near Azrou, lunch in Midelt, then down the Ziz valley. A camel ride into Erg Chebbi at sunset and a night in camp.
Day 5 · Merzouga – Rissani – Aït Ouzzine – Skoura
Sunrise on the dunes, then Rissani, bread in the village of Aït Ouzzine, and west to the palm grove of Skoura.
Day 6 · Skoura – Aït Ben Haddou – Tizi n'Tichka – Marrakech
Aït Ben Haddou, a women's argan cooperative, and the Tizi n'Tichka pass down into Marrakech.
Day 7 · Marrakech
Jardin Majorelle, the Koutoubia, Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs, and a street-food evening in Jemaa el-Fna.
Day 8 · Departure
Transfer to Casablanca airport.
