Day 1 · Arrival in Casablanca
The Hassan II Mosque, built out over the Atlantic, whose 210 m minaret was the world's tallest until 2019. Then the art-deco centre and dinner by the Corniche.
Day 2 · Casablanca – Rabat
The Kasbah of the Oudayas and its Andalusian garden above the river, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Hassan Tower (begun in 1184), and the Chellah necropolis.
Day 3 · Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Moulay Idriss – Fes
In Meknes, the city Moulay Ismail made his capital in the late 17th century, see Bab Mansour and the Bou Inania madrasa. Then Volubilis, founded in the 3rd century BC, with its mosaics, and the holy town of Moulay Idriss, before Fes.
Day 4 · Fes
The view from the Marinid tombs, then into the medina by Bab Boujeloud: the Royal Palace gates, the Mellah and the Ibn Danan synagogue, the Bou Inania madrasa, the Chouara tannery, and al-Qarawiyyin, founded in 859.
Day 5 · Fes food walk
Spices in the market, bread from a communal oven, street food such as bissara and briouat, and Moroccan honeys.
Day 6 · Fes – Marrakech
The long drive south to Marrakech. Evening free in the medina.
Day 7 · Marrakech
The Koutoubia, Jardin Majorelle and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum, the Pierre Bergé Museum of Berber Arts, Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs, and Jemaa el-Fna at night.
Day 8 · Departure
Transfer to Marrakech Menara airport.
