Day by day
Day 1 · Arrival in Marrakech
Welcome to Morocco. Your private driver meets you at Menara Airport and transfers you to a handpicked riad in the medina. Settle in, then ease into Marrakech with mint tea on the rooftop as the call to prayer echoes across the rooftops.
Day 2 · Marrakech to Aït Benhaddou via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass
Cross the High Atlas through the spectacular Tichka Pass, with stops for panoramic photos and a Berber bread-making demonstration. Continue to the fortified village of Aït Benhaddou.
Day 3 · Ouarzazate & the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs
Explore Ouarzazate, home of the Atlas Film Studios, where films have been shot since the 1980s, and the Taourirt Kasbah. Then follow the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs east.
Day 4 · Skoura to the Dades Valley
Wind through rose-scented valleys to the Dades, where red-rock formations rise above ancient Berber villages.
Day 5 · Todra Gorge & on to Merzouga
Walk the floor of the Todra Gorge, then drive south toward the desert. By late afternoon, mount your camel and ride into the Erg Chebbi dunes.
Day 6 · Sahara Day
A full day in the dunes. Sleep in, then choose your pace: 4×4 desert expedition to nomadic families, sandboarding, or simply silence on the crest of a dune.
Day 7 · Draa Valley & the Agdz oasis
After a last sunrise, ride out of the dunes and drive west to the Draa Valley, whose palm groves line Morocco's longest river.
Day 8 · Anti-Atlas & Taroudant
Cross the Anti-Atlas to Taroudant, a quiet walled town often called “Little Marrakech” for its ramparts and souks.
Day 9 · Taroudant to Marrakech
Drive back to Marrakech over the High Atlas, with a stop at a women's argan cooperative where you can see the traditional stone-press method.
Day 10 · Departure
Private transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport. Until next time.
