Agafay is a stone desert, not a sand one: bare, rolling hills and dry riverbeds about 37 km from Marrakech, with the High Atlas on the horizon. It is the closest thing to the desert you can reach without an overnight trip.
You choose the length and the time of day. The afternoon trip ends with the sunset over the hills, and the evening trip adds dinner at a desert camp.
