Your day begins with a pickup from your hotel in Tangier. We'll start with a scenic coastal drive west towards Cap Spartel. This dramatic cape marks the point where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea. You'll visit the historic lighthouse and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views. A short distance away are the legendary Hercules Caves. Explore these fascinating natural and man-made grottoes, famous for their sea opening that strikingly resembles the shape of the African continent.

After soaking in the views and myths of Cap Spartel and Hercules Caves, we embark on a picturesque drive south along the Atlantic coast towards Asilah (approx. 45 minutes to 1 hour). This charming fortified town is known for its relaxed atmosphere and vibrant arts scene.

Upon arrival in Asilah, you'll begin a guided walk through its beautiful Medina. Famous for its whitewashed houses with blue and green accents, the Medina's walls are transformed into an open-air art gallery each year during the Asilah Arts Festival, with colorful murals adorning many buildings. You'll wander through the narrow, clean streets, discover hidden squares, and walk along the impressive 15th-century Portuguese ramparts, which offer stunning views of the ocean and the town.

For lunch (not included), your guide can recommend a local restaurant in Asilah, where you can enjoy fresh seafood or other Moroccan specialties. After lunch, you'll have some free time to further explore Asilah at your own pace. You might choose to browse the numerous small art galleries, shop for unique handicrafts and souvenirs, or simply relax at a café and soak up the town's bohemian atmosphere.

As the afternoon draws to a close, we will begin our return journey to Tangier. You'll be dropped off at your hotel, filled with memories of Asilah's artistic charm and the rugged beauty of the Atlantic coast.
