Day 1: Marrakech - Asni - Imi Oughlad - Ait Aissa Tacht Pass (1950m)

Depart Marrakech in the morning and drive to the High Atlas Mountains via Asni to the village of Imi Oughlad. Meet your trekking team and begin your hike along gentle mountain trails showcasing traditional Berber farming and village life. Ascend gradually to the Ait Aissa Tacht Pass (1950m), offering beautiful views over surrounding valleys. Descend to the village of Ait Aissa, nestled in an earthy-toned valley. Overnight in a local homestay.

Day 2: Ait Aissa - Tizi Oussem - Tamssoult Waterfalls - Tizi Oussem

After breakfast, continue trekking through scenic mountain paths toward the Azzadene Valley. Reach the village of Tizi Oussem before ascending toward the Tamssoult waterfalls at around 2400m. Enjoy lunch and time to relax near the cascading water before returning along the same trail to Tizi Oussem. Walking time: approx. 5 hours Overnight in a traditional mountain lodge.

Day 3: Tizi Oussem - Mzik Pass (2450m) - imlil 1740m

Today hike follows a trail beneath the slopes of Mount Toubkal, offering wide views over the Azzadene Valley. After about 2.5 hours of ascent, reach the Mzik Pass (2450m). Descend into the Imlil Valley, passing terraced orchards and green farmland before arriving in the village of Fimlil. Overnight in a confortable Riad.

Day 4: imlil - Tizi nTamatert (2389m) –- Tinghrine - Ouaneskra

Follow a mix of quiet roads and shaded mountain paths lined with walnut trees and pine forests. Climb steadily to the Tizi nTamatert Pass, enjoying stunning views over the Imenane Valley. Descend through the traditional villages of Tinghrine and Ouaneskra, known for their stone houses and terraced fields. Walking time: approx. 5 hours Overnight in a village guesthouse.

Day 5: Ouaneskra - Tizi naddi (2900m) - Oukaimeden - Oussertek

Ascend toward the Tizi n’Addi Pass (2900m), the highest point of the trek, with panoramic views across the Atlas Mountains and villages crossed earlier in the journey. After lunch near a mountain spring, visit the ancient rock carvings of Oukaimeden. Continue downhill through juniper forests to the valley of Oussertek. Walking time: approx. 5.5 hours Overnight in a homestay. Walking time: 6h

Day 6: Oussertek - Imsker - Imi Oughlad - Asni - Marrakech

Descend through the Imenane Valley, passing the village of Imsker and crossing El Bour Pass along a mule trail surrounded by juniper trees. Arrive back in Imi Oughlad for lunch by the river before transferring by vehicle to Marrakech. Walking time: approx. 4.5 hours Driving time: approx. 1.5 hours
