In the morning, depart Marrakech by private minibus, enjoying the scenic Moroccan countryside along the way. Our trek begins at the meeting point with the mules and cook who will assist during the journey. We pass through Aguersioual village and start ascending toward the Tizi Ouidi Pass at 2100 m. From the top, enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and mountain peaks. After descending, we reach the village of Id Issa, where the camp is set for the night. Walking time: ~4h30
Start early to beat the heat as we climb toward Tizi n’Taghrhourte Pass at 1995 m. From there, we descend into the D’knt Valley, a wide and scenic expanse dotted with small Berber villages. After a lunch break in the valley, the trail ascends again to reach Tizgi village, where we set up camp and enjoy a quiet evening surrounded by the mountains. Walking time: ~6h
Today’s trek follows the rugged beauty of the Toubkal region. We hike through wild landscapes and may encounter Berber shepherds with their flocks. After a morning ascent to Tizi n’Tagdalte Pass (2600 m), we descend to the Azzaden River valley for lunch. In the afternoon, the trail climbs gently to the Azib Tamsoult campsite at 2250 m, surrounded by dramatic peaks and valleys. Walking time: ~6h
This is one of the most challenging days, with a long ascent to Aguelzim Pass at 3450 m. The climb is steady, and the effort is rewarded with breathtaking views of Mount Toubkal and surrounding peaks. After taking in the scenery, we descend to the Toubkal Base Camp at 3200 m, where the camp is set for the night. Walking time: ~6h30
Start at daybreak for the ascent to the summit of Mount Toubkal, North Africa’s highest peak at 4167 m. After reaching the top and enjoying panoramic views, we return to the base camp for lunch. The descent continues through Imlil Valley, ending in the village where a transfer back to Marrakech is waiting. Celebrate the accomplishment of completing this unforgettable trek. Walking time: ~6h
