Tour Itinerary – 10 Days Morocco Discovery

Day 1 – Arrival in Marrakech Arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport. Private transfer to your riad in the Medina. Depending on arrival time, enjoy free exploration: stroll through Jemaa el‑Fna Square, wander the lively souks, or relax in the riad’s courtyard. Overnight in a charming riad.

Day 2 – Guided Exploration of Marrakech Full‑day guided tour of the Red City: admire the Koutoubia Mosque (exterior), explore the ornate Bahia Palace, and visit the Saadian Tombs. Stroll through the Majorelle Garden with its iconic blue walls. Discover the medina’s artisan workshops, spice markets, and hidden courtyards, overnight in a riad.

Day 3 – Marrakech → Imlil Valley (Atlas Mountains) Morning drive (approx. 1.5 hrs) to the Imlil Valley, gateway to Mount Toubkal. Guided hike through Berber villages, walnut groves, and terraced fields. Traditional Berber lunch in a local home. Afternoon walk with panoramic views of the High Atlas. Overnight in a comfortable riad in Imlil.

Day 4 – Imlil → Aït Ben Haddou → Dades Valley Cross the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m) with breathtaking mountain scenery. Visit the UNESCO‑listed Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, a masterpiece of earthen architecture. Continue via Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses to the dramatic Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight in a hotel overlooking the valley.

Day 5 – Dades → Todra Gorges → Merzouga (Sahara Desert) Morning visit to the towering Todra Gorge, famous for its sheer cliffs. Continue to Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara. At sunset, embark on a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, dinner and overnight in a luxury desert camp beneath the stars.

Day 6 – Sahara Desert → Midelt Wake early to witness sunrise over the dunes. Journey north through the Ziz Valley and cedar forests of the Middle Atlas. Stop in Midelt for a comfortable overnight stay, breaking the long journey to Fes. Overnight in Midelt.

Day 7 – Midelt → Fes Continue through scenic Middle Atlas landscapes. Optional stops in Ifrane (“Little Switzerland”) or traditional villages. Arrive in Fes by afternoon. Evening free to soak in the medina’s atmosphere. Overnight in a riad.

Day 8 – Guided Tour of Fes (Imperial City). Explore Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital: visit Al Quaraouiyine University, the ancient tanneries, and the Bou Inania Madrasa. Admire the Royal Palace gates and stroll through labyrinthine alleys filled with artisans. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Fes.

Day 9 – Fes → Rabat → Casablanca Drive west to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Visit the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of Oudayas. Continue to Casablanca for an exterior visit of the majestic Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest in the world. Overnight in Casablanca.

Day 10 – Return to Marrakech / Departure Morning transfer back to Marrakech (approx. 3 hrs).
